Gervin Yeast - Varietal A - GV8 - Red / White Label
This yeast is ideal for making wines in the Bordeaux (Claret) style. Described by the manufacturers as an "aromatic" yeast that produces a pleasant and lasting aroma. Low foaming. Good glycerol levels. Ferments well over the temperature range 18-30 degrees C
Gervin yeasts have been selected from the active dried yeasts currently available to commercial winemakers, and exhaustively tested to ensure that they will perform well under the conditions used by amateur winemakers. The wines that each yeast produces has been evaluated by members of the National Guild of Wine and Beer judges. The yeasts are sealed in triple foil sachets under nitrogen or carbon dioxide gas to ensure a long shelf life.
