Gervin Strain GV10
Strongly recommended for making sparkling wines. Has similar characteristics to No.3 but regarded by professionals as somewhat superior. Also excellent for the manufacture of white and rose table wines. Will tolerate alcohol levels up to 18.5%.
Gervin yeasts have been selected from the active dried yeasts currently available to commercial winemakers, and exhaustively tested to ensure that they will perform well under the conditions used by amateur winemakers. The wines that each yeast produces has been evaluated by members of the National Guild of Wine and Beer judges. The yeasts are sealed in triple foil sachets under nitrogen or carbon dioxide gas to ensure a long shelf life.
