Having restarted beer brewing after a 25 year gap (why???) my friend quickly followed when he tasted it, but them upped the ante by starting on wine too. I'd never made wine, so was a little dubious having tasted some disasters in my time. I tried this kit and was very impressed. The hardest part is opening the concentrate. Its in a plastic bag with a plastic stopper than needs prising off.. take care you don't spill any in the process.
After that it was a breeze. Cleared quickly well, and tastes great young. I can't say what it will be like after ageing a bit as it never last that long. Collecting bottles so I can buy the 30 bottle kit.
Easy and as good as anything you'd get in a supermarket under £10. And my friends now on his 3 rd Beaverdale kit too after tasting mine. (Posted on 17/05/2012)

Wow! just bottling this tonight after 3 weeks end to end process.

Beautifully clear and down to a nice SG 995 which is just right for me - dry but not mouth puckeringly so.

what I'm really pleased with though is the character even in this young state - its not overly acidic and theres a lovely fresh light and zesty taste to it

.i'm kicking myself for not doing a 30 bottle now but this has worked out at £2 a bottle so cant complain really. :-) (Posted on 20/12/2010)

I must be getting quite good at this wine making hobby, as this is my second Beaverdale Pinot Grigio kit and this was far better than the first time round.

Simple instructions producing a good quality, very clear, crisp white wine.

Very popular in our house and it will not be around for long!
