Oak Chippings - 10gm
Adds oaky character to red wines and certain white wines. Use 2gms per gallon (4.5 litres).
Pour boiling water over the chippings (to hydrate them), and then rack off and discard the water.
Add the hydrated chips to the fermenting must at the start of fermentation, or alternatively during maturation.
