This French yeast is recommended for the production of dry or sweet quality white fruit wines. It ferments at temperatures down to 8 degrees C. Low foaming.
Gervin yeasts have been selected from the active dried yeasts currently available to commercial winemakers, and exhaustively tested to ensure that they will perform well under the conditions used by amateur winemakers. The wines that each yeast produces has been evaluated by members of the National Guild of Wine and Beer judges. The yeasts are sealed in triple foil sachets under nitrogen or carbon dioxide gas to ensure a long shelf life.
